STYX Advent Calendar

From First Contact to a Long-Term Partnership

Advent calendars are an excellent sales and marketing tool with immense potential for both small and large international companies. FINEPACK provides its customers with comprehensive support at every stage of implementation – from initial design and 3D visualizations to structural recommendations, production, and logistics. Beginning of Collaboration

Our collaboration with STYX began in 2023. Initially, the company stated that they had a stable supplier network and were not looking for new partners. However, a few weeks later, their procurement department contacted us with a request for the production of boxes for chocolate bonbons. Although this project was not ultimately realized, it laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.

Implementation of the Advent Calendar Project

In the spring of 2024, STYX expressed interest in advent calendars, having only a rough idea of the final design. Our company presented several execution options, including tear-off, box-style, and drawer-style formats. After evaluating the available choices, they selected two variants, ultimately opting for the drawer-style design in the shape of a book with 24 perforated windows.

Process and Execution

After sending the price quote and several consultations, the order for 10,000 advent calendars was confirmed in May 2024. Production followed predefined parameters and included precise printing and lamination to ensure a high-quality standard. STYX handled the filling of the calendars with cosmetic and chocolate products independently.

The Styx

STYX Naturcosmetic, an Austrian family-owned company, has specialized in natural cosmetics since 1965. With around 60 employees, it is known for quality, sustainability, and innovation. Combining traditional recipes with modern technology, STYX prioritizes ecological responsibility. Its raw materials come from organic farming or wild growth, and packaging is fully recyclable. In 2010, founder Wolfgang Stix expanded into chocolate production, blending rose essential oil with dark chocolate, leading to a popular line of unique chocolate specialties.

Feedback and Future Collaboration

STYX was very satisfied with the results, leading to an immediate interest in additional production. In September, there was a request for an additional 1,000 calendars. Based on the positive feedback, STYX tentatively confirmed their interest in producing advent calendars for 2025.
